Lunch at Penny Drop in Box Hill today. Penny Drop prides itself on being a fusion asian brunch spot.

I had the Orechiette and Broccoli Pasta with lap cheong, chilli, tomato, white anchovy, black garlic and salted ricotta.

I finished it, which means it was tasty enough. But I think that it lacks something in comparison to the other dishes I’ve tried there.

My friend EDC ordered the same dish and we both thought the pasta dish would have benefited from a more flavorful sauce.

One thing the Penny Drop does really well is projecting a very clean, cute vibe. Coke comes in a mason jar and a straw. Adorable.

Dessert and chit chat with an old friend at the trusty local Pancake Parlour.
